Outstanding!
Amazing keyboard, it is heavy but has no impact to me since I am using this for gaming, LED brightness could be better and I do wish it had more color options but otherwise I have 0 complaints!

Solid Performance in a Compact Package
I recently purchased the MageGee Portable 60% Mechanical Gaming Keyboard, and overall, I’m quite satisfied with its performance.Firstly, the compact design of this keyboard is a significant selling point. The 60% form factor means it takes up minimal space on my desk, making it perfect for gaming setups with limited room or for on-the-go use. Despite its small size, the keys feel sturdy and responsive, providing a satisfying typing and gaming experience. The mechanical switches offer a nice tactile feedback, enhancing the overall typing experience. However, it’s worth noting that the sound level might be a bit louder than some users prefer, especially in quieter environments. The LED backlighting is a nice touch, providing customizable lighting effects to match your gaming setup or personal preferences. The brightness levels are adjustable, allowing for comfortable use in various lighting conditions. In terms of compatibility, the MageGee Portable 60% Mechanical Gaming Keyboard works well with the Xbox Series X.Overall, the MageGee Portable 60% Mechanical Gaming Keyboard offers solid performance in a compact package. While it may not have all the bells and whistles of more expensive keyboards, it delivers a satisfying typing and gaming experience at a reasonable price point.

Amazing keyboard for the price
Obviously there are better mechanical keyboards out there, but I don’t think you’ll find one for less than $30 better than this. I went with the blue switches because I am personally a fan of clicky switches. Following are my pros and consPROS-Affordable as hell, seriously if you have the money to buy a crappy membrane keyboard then you have the money to buy one of these- Ergonomic design. The back rows of keys are slightly higher than the lower rows which make for a very comfortable and easy to type on design. I usually take a few days to adapt to a new keyboard but this one just felt good right off the bat.- Consistent and decent quality switches. I’ve used cheaper keyboards before and they usually have some QC issues with some switches having a completely different feel from others, but everything is consistent and feels the same on this one.CONS- The switches sound a bit “twangy”. There is a higher pitch sound to the switches that other blue’s don’t suffer from. This was mitigated by sticking a few adhesive foam pads inside the PCB tray, but without the foam the switches were kind of annoying, and I’ve been using various blues for 10 years now.-Variances in the different colored key caps. The keyboard comes with some red and black keycaps to replace the default grey ones, and they sound difference is STARK. The red caps sound light and metallic, while the blacks sound heavy and thuddy. I replaced the default grey space bar with a red one and it has a very very obvious sound difference from the rest of the keys.-It’s not hotswapable, the entire PCB is soldered and doing any kind of customization is nearly impossible.

Surprisingly good for the price
This has bizarre switches in it. Not bad, actually really good. Just weird. They have the feel of blues with the resistance of browns. Blues are louder because they resist, and they have sharper activation click and feel in your fingertips. These have that blue feel and sharp activation, but with less weight. I’d guess with my fingers they are about 45g instead of the 55 you expect from cherry blues. And… I kinda like it. This is enjoyable to type on without being tiring. I tested it with some pvp gaming. Very nice. Great for typing up this review. I think I still prefer browns. Especially gaterons, despite the more wobble stalks over cherry, but these are a solid alternative for the price of this thing. If the keyboard lasts a year, I’ll be happy. This isn’t as good as my favorite plug in and work 60 percent keyboard from royal kludge, but it’s close.

Maybe just not for me?
Keyboard seems high quality. Maybe I just don’t know differences in keyboards? The keys are a little closer together than what I have used my whole life so it’s difficult to get used to. But maybe it’s just my lack of knowledge and the style that this is? So it still gets 5 stars because it functions fine and seems solid. Bought to use with my iPad and MacBook Pro. Would have been ideal with a usb-c cable. I have a dongle that works just fine with this.

Keys sometimes don’t work
I’ve had this keyboard for about 2 months now and I can say it’s a pretty solid option for budget ballers- But I’ve had some issues with this keyboardPros: great led settings, very compact, decent sound quality, a long cable, and extra keycapsCons: the keycap puller included would scratch up and leave marks on the keycap, some keys won’t work I’ve had the most issues with the Y and windows keys, the spacebar is horribly loud and I find it really annoying. Conclusion: this keyboard is a good option for around $30 but as expected there will be some issues that can affect your experience.

Amazing for the price
Wonderful little keyboard, got it to replace a Razer keyboard that I spilled one too many beers on and honestly I like this little keyboard the best. It is a bit louder than the razer one but it isn’t something that bothers me at all. Definitely worth it for the price. Also, I’m pretty sure this keyboard shows up in a lot of r/battlestations threads and looks super expensive but is dirt cheap.

Still Fantastic a Year and Half Later, but some things to know
I am a huge fan of this item. The switches are wonderful, and it’s been my daily driver since my KeyChron got lost in a move almost a year and a half ago. I meant to replace it, but it has served my purposes so effectively that I haven’t purchased a new one. That being said, I bought this in December of 2022, it is now September of 2024, and some of the individual backlights have begun to fail, specifically the V key and the comma key. With the caps that come with the keyboard, it is difficult to see what the key is without the backlight, so you may want to have different key caps in your amazon cart if you intend to use it long term!

Works fine, you get what you pay for
This keyboard is perfectly acceptable for the price. For $20, you just can’t go wrong. Unfortunately, there are a few issues I have with this keyboard regardless. The first of which being that the white and orange variant of the keyboard has fully opaque keycaps, meaning that the backlight doesn’t shine through. Secondly, there is no manual for what functions you can trigger with the Fn key. I ended up just pressing every single key until I found the one I wanted. To save yourself some time, the PrtSc key is Fn + , (comma) and to change media volume you use Fn + P and Fn + O. I couldn’t figure out the rest, good luck! Overall, this keyboard is fine but you will definitely get better, smoother feeling keys/better stabilizers if you spend more. But, for the price, you just can’t beat this.

Not bad for the price
I purchased this for under $25, so I will review as such. I got the yellow keycaps with blue switches. One of my hobbies is to buy dirt cheap mechanical keyboards and mod/improve them as much as I can. Sometimes I fall in love with them, other times I just give away as custom made gifts. This caught my attention because it is pretty rare to see a removable USB C connection in the right spot on cheap mech keyboards, I’ve retrofitted one with a after market port and it was such a pain I said I would never bother again. For the price this is a pretty good keyboard, although one of the loudest I have, and I’m currently neck deep in about 15 different mech keyboards. The switches are soldered on and are Jixian blues. Reviews aren’t great and I would agree. They feel fine but sound obnoxious. I havn’t tried the red switch option of this board but I would go that route if I ever repurchased, probably duller to the ear with similar feel when it comes to this grade switch. However, sound aside this is really nice to type on, and the cheapest 60% with USB C I have seen. The keycaps it comes with are really nice doubleshots and it came with a bag of extras, even some that don’t fit on this board, like number pad big 0 and long vertical enter. Mine shipped all white and grey, and a bag of yellow modifiers/space/numkey/FN/backspace etc. Also a red esc cap.I immediately took it apart by removing all keycaps and removing six screws. Pretty solid board, but a big empty echo chamber of a base. I added one layer of Zip-n-fit foam to the deep well towards the back, than another full panel layer to the remaining space. I put 5 layers of masking tape on the back of the board and screwed it back together. This helped a long with the “pinginess” and reverb but the switches are still really load. Replacing the switches will be my next project but a long on as there are 136 pins to solder. Won’t probably be worth it, but it’s my wierd hobby and I will report back.My plans for this are my travel board for hotels. I recently lost a very expensive keyboard in baggage check and would rather just have $25 loss over the aggravation and hassle over a $150 claim with the airlines. If I was traveling with my wife though, she would tell me to throw this thing through the window because it is so loud.I guess if you are single, or plan to use it in a place with no one around, and budget is a concern and are willing to take it apart and make some adjustments, this is a very good $25 keyboard. For anyone who has a great mechanical keyboard or are in earshot of 50ft of someone, this probably isn’t for you.Edit: I bought another one with red switches. I highly recommend going with red’s, it feels better typing, and sounds 1000% better.

Mostly good but very tinny sound
For reasons unknown I seem to put a lot of stock into how my keyboard sounds without wanting to put a lot of money into this so I’ve been trying out different, lower cost mechanical keyboards. Over all this one was not bad for the cost but sounded tinny and a bit clanky. The keys felt cheap (which, I mean, they are) but when considering other brands have their base model at around $32 with much higher quality keys its hard not to compare. Over all decent if the tinny doesn’t bother you, otherwise maybe consider a different maker.

Perfect sound on blue switches
The sound is perfect but a little loud nothing I really care about its-something my family might care about. But other than that responsiveness gets a 10/10 portability 10/10 super small and compact keys 10/10 includes extra keys as well for more designs. 10/10 prefect Quality with no faults or anything you should be worried about. This is the type of keyboard where your friend asks you how expensive was that and you say $100 because that’s how the keyboard looks and preforms. All in all it’s a 10/10 well recommended to gamers

good for price
you get what you pay for with this keyboard. it doesn’t feel as cheap as i thought it would and the case feels pretty strong. where you feel the cheapness is the switches. its pretty clacky, especially with the space and backspace keys. the light settings are cool and the backlight isn’t the brightest light in the world but even when i have my lamps on it looks pretty cool. on the back there are those little things that can raise the keyboard which makes it pretty easy to type on.for personal use where you don’t have to worry about annoying someone, it gets the job done. i would not recommend for someone like a college student who shares a room with someone and will be using it late at night unless you wanna put some extra love into it and install those sound dampening pads in it (i’m not a keyboard modder so idfk what im talking about tbh)TLDR; its good for the price but is a little clacky

Decent keyboard for the price, a bit loud
Louder than I was hoping. Keys are too easily pressed, making accidental key presses too frequent unless very careful. Key pressing is more sensitive than any other keyboard I’ve used. Lighting is good with many different lighting profiles to choose from. Keycap quality seems high. Overall, not a bad keyboard for the price. Wish it was a bit quieter.

Occasionally disconnects but not annoying, My everyday use keyboard.
I read the reviews up here and thought that disconnecting would be an everyday problem and it would eventually force me to get a new keyboard. I’ve been delightfully surprised by the performance of this keyboard. I’ve used it daily for almost a year and have only had it disconnect 3 to 4 times. it’s as simple as unplugging it and plugging it back in to fix the connection error so not even worth the hassle to complain about it IMO. I don’t know if that’s the average experience with this product but I will be getting another one when this one eventually breaks. For the price, this keyboard can’t be beat.

Solid Little Keyboard
I bought this to free up some room on my small desk. It fits well, feels substantial and sturdy. It took just a few hours to get used to smaller size with my large hands, plus the keystroke difference from my old non-mechanical full size one. Use it primarily for browsing and a bit of gaming. All in all its a great compact keyboard for a low price.

It’s OK for the price. Back light is nice. But really if your using OSX or Linux you’ll need a Tilde to refer to your home directory. On my Mac I have to use the KeyboardViewer to get one!!! If your on Windows or never use a Tilde then it’s ok.

The shipped a used one the first time See PICS
The media could not be loaded.
Check my video on this review for a sound of the brown switches. They had to send the product twice, the first shipped item was USED. The USB-c cable, Key Cap Puller and manual were all missing. NOT TO MENTION ALL OF THE KEYS WERE OFF and in the bag. I had them send out a new keyboard had to wait two more days for the new one to arrive, this one has been excellent. All the Keys were installed , It was different than the photo of the one I ordered. The pic was all Gray, black and red … The installed caps were only Black and Gray. All of the red caps were in the zip baggy. That’s not a huge deal. The keys seem to be responsive and sound fine. They are more of a dull clicky thud that a crisp click like my 100% keyboard I had prior. The only thing I have to really get used to is the backspace key. I keep hitting the \ keys instead since it was where my old backspace was, but as I am typing this I was already getting used to the keys placement. It only takes a small amount of time to get muscle memory to adapt.

Love the keyboard – extra keys are random
The extra keys they sent seemed random, and several don’t even fit my keyboard. The “0 Ins” and “+” are a different size. Overall I love the keyboard. I’m WFH and remote in a rental home currently, and the desk space is limited. My full size keyboard are up too much landscape, this keyboard is perfect. I can fit it, and keep my track ball up against it.

I love this keyboard!
I wanted a keyboard for travel with a pad. I’m super-fussy about keyboards because I write for a living. I wanted the smallest possible keyboard with a mechanical touch. (I really hate laptop-style keyboards with no “feel”.) This is it. The keys are full size, so don’t be confused by the “60% size” product description–that just refers to the overall footprint. The space-saving design omits F1 through F12 keys but you can get them by pressing the Fn key with keys 1 through 0 , -, and =. The tab, caps lock, shift keys, and enter keys are normally sized; there is no compromise there. The enter, backslash, and backspace keys are also full size. The cursor keys are well placed. The one compromise is they omitted Home and End keys, but PgUp, PgDn, Ins, and Del are all there.Backlight is activated by pressing Fn with cursor-up or cursor-down. There are four levels of brightness (plus you can switch it off), and you can also activate some entertaining lighting effects which I found unnecessary. My one complaint is that the keyboard is a little bit heavy for traveling. But the size is perfect and the key touch is just perfect. This keyboard has received some negative views which I find confusing. A couple reviewers complain that the keyboard has an auto-off feature, but mine doesn’t have that; it stays on. A reviewer complained about poor manufacturing finish, but the finish on my keyboard here is excellent.I hardly ever give 5 stars to anything, but this keyboard deserves it.

Price reflects value
So there is plenty good, and plenty bad about this keyboard. For <$25, the price I paid was $23 and change, plus tax, it's hard to do much better than this. A few notes about things I saw in other reviews that were not true for the two units I received:- switches are labeled "ZDZ". I've not been able to find much about these. They appear to be a knock-off of Outemu, which themselves are generally considered the bottom-of-the-barrel in terms of price/quality.- units are NOT RGB. They do have backlighting, but it's just blue, not red or green or any combination of other colors. Also, it's more of a cyan-blue, so NOT "primary blue" like would be present in an RGB LED lighting source.Cons:- units are very lightweight and "chattery" sounding- units seem to have some compatibility issues - they worked with my KVM, but not my dock- switch stems have a weird protrusion on some of the wings that makes keycap replacement rather difficult, and feels like it could damage other switch components due to the forces required.- labeling. The boxes they came in did not denote switch types (at least not in English), and some of the keys that can only be actuated via an "Fn" combination, are not marked anywhere on the keyboard.Pros:- units are as described by manufacturer. They did not claim any specific switch brand or RGB lighting- functionality. These should be able to provide every individual keypress and combination reasonably needed in most contexts for Windows/Mac/Linux users.- adjustable feet with rubber. All 3 levels of rear feet - flat, medium, and tall - have rubberized patches where they contact the table/desk surface. This is a feature many more expensive keyboards are somehow lacking, and was shocked to find it at this price point.- USB-C. It may not be fully compliant (I do not have the ability to test for that), but the fact that it's using a USB-C connector on the keyboard rather than something obsolete, is nice to see, especially at this price point. 10 people found this helpful

I was shopping for big brands but they seemed overpriced and I wasn’t sure how I would like a mechanical keyboard so I just bought this to try out and my idea was to upgrade later on. This keyboard is alright for the price!
Actually I bought this keyboard by mistake. I meant to buy a wireless keyboard of this brand as I had one already but this wired one is fine for my application. Appearance wise, it looks to be quite nice for the price, the keyboard itself came with black and white keys with the orange keys coming in a separate bag.Although the outside looks to be alright, the keys were.. different. Comparing it to my wireless magegee keyboard, the red switches on this keyboard seems to be more on the cheap side of things. The feeling and noise of it is different but maybe that could just be the material of the key caps as my wireless version has PBT key caps and sounds WAY different to wired one.The weight is quite light but I recently opened up the keyboard and used damping material inside such as car dampening as well as foam. I am going to upgrade the key caps to see if it changes anything.Now.. onto brightness.. the brightness isn’t the best, even with full brightness, the light don’t really show up their the keycaps, only around it. Maybe changing the key caps will change that but for what this keyboard is..It’s alright. I upgraded from clicky blue switches from a used Logitech keyboard I had. This is definitely a better upgrade to what I had before hand.
